Frequently asked questions
How do I enter times?
As h:mm — 7:30 is 7 hours 30 min. Plain numbers count as minutes (90 = 1h 30m). Prefix with − for breaks or deductions.
What are decimal hours?
Total expressed as a decimal — 7:30 becomes 7.50. Timesheets and payroll systems use this; multiply by rate directly.
Can I subtract lunch breaks?
Yes — add an entry like -0:30 or -1:00. It subtracts from the total, exactly like a timesheet.
Why doesn't it accept seconds?
Minute precision covers timesheets and billing. For second-level sums, convert to minutes first (90s = 1.5 min).
